The event seeks to position Peru as a leading center for the region\u2019s artistic movement, bringing together disciplines such as visual arts, digital arts, and performing arts.<\/p><p data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1623\">This year, the international open call attracted more than 20,000 applicants from 60 countries, from which 560 artistic works were selected. The selection process was conducted by an internationally renowned jury, including Carlos Gonzales (Peru), Elly Prestegard (Canada), P\u00e9ter P\u00f3cs (Hungary), Monirul Alam (Bangladesh), and Ana Brum (Brazil).<\/p><p data-start=\"1625\" data-end=\"2094\">The official opening was scheduled for Friday, December 6, at 7:15 p.m., at the Museo Aeron\u00e1utico del Per\u00fa in Lima. The exhibition features visual and performing arts projects from countries including the United States, England, China, Brazil, Poland, Switzerland, France, and Uruguay. The program also includes a conference titled \u201cJourneys of Inspiration,\u201d presented by Turkish filmmaker Mediha Didem T\u00fcremen.<\/p><p data-start=\"2096\" data-end=\"2423\">Among the international artists recognized in this edition are Carlos Smith (England), F\u00d8GRA (United States), Jianzhong Liu (China), and Yessica Texeira (Brazil).
