The competition received nearly 60,000 submissions across different categories.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1060\" data-end=\"1308\">Out of the 20 award categories, Peru won four. Yulissa Requejo won in Packaging Design, F\u00e1tima Vega in Service Design, Mariel Matute in Fashion Design, and Pedro Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez in Industrial Design.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1691\">The Peru&nbsp; Bienal is an international event that opens its doors to the world through a broad program of activities, including exhibitions, recognitions, launches, and conferences. In 2023, the event was scheduled to take place both online and in person at the Museo de Santo Domingo in Lima, from January 28 to February 10.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1693\" data-end=\"2111\">The event has attracted significant international participation. For the 2023 edition, the jury included renowned professionals from different countries, among them Armando Milani (Italy), Helmut Langer (Germany), Krzysztof Dydo (Poland), Istvan Orosz (Hungary), Serge Serov (Russia), Edi Berk (Slovenia), Leslie Cober (USA), Leo Lin (Taiwan), and Parisa Tashakori (Iran\u2013USA).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2113\" data-end=\"2440\">According to Fidel C\u00e1rdenas, President of&nbsp; Peru Bienal, the event serves as a source of knowledge and inspiration and seeks to strengthen the design industry across the continent while contributing to the growth of the artistic, creative, and cultural industries worldwide.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2442\" data-end=\"2780\">The award ceremony, scheduled for January 28, would recognize the 20 international winners.
