After an international selection process, <strong data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1006\">560 artistic works<\/strong> were chosen to form part of the edition.<\/p><p data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1424\">The works were evaluated by an international jury composed of recognized professionals from different countries: <strong data-start=\"1162\" data-end=\"1424\">Carlos Gonzales (Peru), Elly Prestegard (Canada), P\u00e9ter P\u00f3cs (Hungary), Martha Escondeur (Uruguay), Monirul Alam (Bangladesh), Filippos Fragkogiannis (Greece), Naufan Noordyanto (Indonesia), Mohammad Afshar (Iran), Ana Brum (Brazil), and Jason Z\u00fa\u00f1iga (Peru).<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"1834\" data-end=\"2315\">The international selection featured artists such as <strong data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"2315\">Carlos Smith (United Kingdom), Faezeh Mohammed (United Arab Emirates), F\u00d8GRA (United States), Nick Mendoza &amp; Pouya Jahanshahi (United States), Jianzhong Liu (China), Aleksander Walijewski (Poland), Szymon Szymankiewicz (Poland), Melchior Imboden (Switzerland), David Lambert (France), Yessica Texeira (Brazil), Yastian Petit (France), Tatana Zubeldia (Uruguay), Martin French (United States), and Slawomir Kosmynka (Poland).<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"2317\" data-end=\"2644\">The Peruvian presence was also significant, with works by artists including <strong data-start=\"2393\" data-end=\"2643\">Andr\u00e9 Granados, \u00c1lvaro de la Puente, C\u00e9cile Grecca, Danilo Bojanich, Esteban Altamirano, Felipe Coaquira, H\u00e9ctor Guzm\u00e1n, Ingrid Arias, Italo Flores, Jarufe Vargas, Jes\u00fas Salvador, Jos\u00e9 Carlos Vargas, M\u00f3nica Ccalla, V\u00edctor Chura, and Samuel Coriat<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"2646\" data-end=\"3036\">According to <strong data-start=\"2659\" data-end=\"2703\">Fidel C\u00e1rdenas, President of Peru Bienal<\/strong>, the initiative aims to consolidate Peru as a <strong data-start=\"2750\" data-end=\"2812\">leading artistic, creative, and cultural hub in the region<\/strong>, while contributing to the growth of the creative industries throughout Latin America.
