DR. KRZYSZTOF GUZEK NAMED FINALIST AT PERU BIENAL

Dr. Guzek was recognized for his project “A Generative Dynamic Visual Identity System of Lodz University of Technology,” which was ranked among the top three works out of 9,596 submissions in the Visual Identity Design category.
The project was developed as part of his doctoral dissertation, which he defended in 2020 at the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. The dissertation was also nominated for the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland’s Award for the Best Scientific Dissertations.
The jury recognized the innovative character of the project, describing it as a pioneering attempt to apply the concept of generative visual identity within the Polish higher education context.
The project presents a coherent system of graphic identities, including two versions of the university’s main logo—a static and a dynamic version designed for different media—as well as logos for the university’s organizational units and personalized logos for students and employees.
The project also includes templates for signage, stationery, and promotional materials, creating a unified visual language for the university.
The Peru Bienal exhibition was scheduled to take place at the Museum of Callao, Peru, from December 3 to 15, 2021.
