International Call- Visual Identity Systems

The Peru Biennial officially announces its International Competition and Exhibition in Visual Identity Systems. The complete visual universe of a brand or institution, not just an individual graphic piece.

This international open call invites companies, organizations, design studios, professionals, and emerging designers from around the world to submit innovative and strategic visual identity projects, whether unpublished or previously developed.

Eligible submissions may include corporate identity systems, institutional identities, cultural identities, brand identity programs, and rebranding projects. Projects should demonstrate the creation of a cohesive visual system through elements such as logos, typography, color palettes, graphic elements, visual guidelines, and identity applications across different communication platforms.

General Considerations

a). International and national projetcs participate. Minimum one, Maximum three per participate. Projects from any country in the world can participate. If the artwork infringes plagiarism or intellectual property rights, the sender will be solely responsible.

b). The participates authorize the organization to publicly communicate the images of the projects respecting at all times the right of the autor, in order to maximize its diffusion in different media and communication platforms that the organizers consider convenient.

c) The Jury will evaluate all submitted projects and select the Selected projects, which will be officially recognized and included in the Peru Biennial 2026 Exhibition. From among them, the Jury will designate the Finalist Projects, from which the Award-Winning projects in the Visual Identity Systems category will be chosen.

d). Selected projects, finalist projects and awarded projects are part of the exhibition. The verdict of the jury is unappealable, the jury is committed not to reveal the result before the dates stipulated by the organization.

e) e) The Selected Projects, Finalist Projects, and Award-Winning Projects shall receive official recognition from the Organizing Committee and will be exhibited as part of the official Peru Biennial 2026 Exhibition.

f) Any objection provided or that is not in the bases , it will be resolved by the directive of the biennial in a final and unappealable form.

Dates

Deadline: August 31 , 2026
Selected Projects: September 05, 2026
Finalist Projects: September 10, 2026
Awarded Projects: September 12, 2026
Opening November 15, 2026
Exhibition: November 15- November 28, 2026.

Information

To participate it will be necessary that the information to SEND meets two requirements, which we describe below:

A) Project Description in a PDF or Word file considering : Name of the company or institution or author and a brief description of the project.

B) Images of the project. Images should be compressed in zip or rar format.

The information described above must be submitted through the “Submission Form” at the end of the reading.

Please verify that the extension of the “files” to be sent complies with the requirements of the “Submission Form”. If the images to send exceed 8 MB, you can use the file transfer tools: Google Drive , Wetransfer, iCloud, OneDrive, or “similar” to send your project and notify the email: peru@perubienal.com
