Synopsis
My Voice Has an Echo in It is a six-hour durational performance installation that explores media saturation, digital culture, and the boundaries between presence and mediation. Four performers are enclosed in a soundproof box with two-way mirrors, performing live music, spoken text, and video while audiences observe through headphones, free to come and go at will. The piece blends alt-rock, experimental music, and fragmented texts inspired by Marshall McLuhan, creating an immersive reflection on contemporary life where digital screens and divided attention dominate our existence.
