The Biennial of Peru , officially announces an international call in the category of Theatre . The call is open to companies,,theater groups and professionals in the sector.

Participants: Theater projects from any country in the world, in their different typologies. Authors from any country and over 18 years

General Considerations

a). International and national projects are involved.

b). The jury will select from all the submitted projects, “selected projects”, which will be publicly recognized. From the group of selected projects, the finalists are chosen. From the group of finalists, the winning project is chosen.

c). Selected projects, finalist projects and winning projects are part of the main presentation in the cultural circuits of the Biennial of Peru.

d). The jury will be composed of national and international professionals with recognized professional experience in the sector, members of the organizing committee, steering committees of the Biennial and executive committees of the Biennial of Peru

e) Any objection that is contemplated or that is not in the bases , shall be resolved by the directive of the biennial in a definitive and unappealable manner.

Deadline: October 30, 2024
Selected Projects: November 15, 2024
Finalist Projects: November 20, 2024
Awarded Projects: November 25, 2024
Presentation: 10 March, 2025

Information

Up to two works per participant.. To participate it will be necessary that the information to SEND meets two requirements, which we describe below:

a) Project information, A4 sheet (Word or pdf file). Name of the play, Name of the company, or name of the author or authors,, Description of the play, Link YouTube, Vimeo or any other, where you can observe the play.

b). Attach photos, images of the work in a folder. Folder name format: Country + author or company name + play name. Then compress the folder in zip or rar format.

Submission Form- Theater

Enter an “active and main” email for the necessary communications (Very Important). You will receive a confirmation email within a maximum period of 48 hours. Check your “main email” and also the “junk mailbox” (Very Important). We recommend adding the email to your address book : peru@perubienal.com

Please verify that the extension of the “files” to be sent complies with the requirements of the “Submission Form”. If the images to send exceed 8 MB, you can use the file transfer tools: Wetransfer, Google Drive or “similar” to send your project and notify the email: peru@perubienal.com
